I’m about to leave for Paris and thought this would be a good time to catch up.
Since hiking the Pacific Crest Trail last year, I have spent time in Canada, Vietnam and Thailand. It’s been a pretty adventure-less period but this seems to happen each time I finish a long distance adventure. I get lazy.
Anyway, I am headed to the south of France where I will begin walking the Camino de Santiago. It will take five weeks (or so) to finish and I have done precisely zero preparation or research for this walk. After walking the Camino, I will spend the summer months hiking and camping around Ireland.
To be honest, I’m more excited about Ireland than walking the Camino.
But how long will I stay?
Only time will tell but I do feel an unmistakable urge to go home right now.
