I get asked this question more than any other.
It’s a big compliment, no doubt, and thanks to those who ask!
Short answer: I don’t want to write a book – yet.
It’s not that I don’t think it will be good or that it might not sell. I just don’t want to spend my time/energy on writing a book at this period in my life. It’s not a case of laziness either (I don’t think) but rather that I’d much prefer to use this time to take more trips and make more videos. But can’t I do both? Anything is possible but I’m trying to focus on doing things that are important, enjoyable and meaningful to me at this time and writing a book is just not a priority right now.
Ask me again in two or five years time 😉
But I do have some book recommendations for you:
The Sheltering Desert by Henno Martin – Two Germans go live in the Namib Desert to escape World War II
Anam Cara by John O’Donohue – A book about Celtic Wisdom (This changed my life)
My Midsummer Morning by Alastair Humphreys – Alastair sets out to walk and busk (violin) his way across Spain without money.
